Joan Fabbri began her full time art career soon after moving from Rockland County, N.Y. to Lewes, Delaware.

As a self taught artist her technique is not "typical" watercolor. She has developed her own style that is heavy on color and detail.

The concept behind her paintings is to engage the viewer by paying attention to particular elements within the scene in an attempt to relay a feeling or a message.
